Lecture: Israel and the Middle East: Briefing the Past, Present, and Future from an International Relations Perspective
The lecture by Dr. Arie Kacowicz "Israel and the Middle East: Briefing the Past, Present, and Future from an International Relations Perspective" will take place at the museum "Jews in Latvia", on October, 18, 2019, at 18:00.
The lecture, aimed at everyone interested in contemporary international relations, will touch on several topics, including the current status of international relations in the region, where Israel faces the new challenges in the rapidly changing situation.
The lecture will be given by Dr. Arie Kacowicz, a prominent Israeli political scientist, professor of the Department of International Relations of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Prof. Kacowicz is visiting Latvia in the framework of cooperation between Center for Judaic Studies of University of Latvia, Faculty of Social Sciences of University of Latvia, and Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Israel).
The lecture will be held in English, everyone is welcome. The entrance is free.
